Dr. Ashok Jain is a distinguished pediatrician with an impressive background in healthcare and philanthropy. He graduated from Kasturba Medical College, a top medical institution in India, in 1993 and completed his pediatric residency at New York Medical College. Dr. Jain’s journey in pediatrics led him to serve as the Chief Resident at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago, where he achieved Board Certification in Pediatrics in 1998. He then pursued further specialization in Pediatric Cardiology as a Fellow at Northwestern University-Children’s Memorial Hospital in 1999.

In a heartfelt commitment to providing healthcare to underserved children, Dr. Jain dedicated three years of service in Indiana and North Carolina between 2000 and 2003. His dedication to the field extends beyond medicine, as he earned an MBA from Fayetteville State University in 2004. He became a Certified Physician Executive from American Association of Physician Leadership. 

Dr. Jain’s passion for pediatric care led him to establish ‘Hope Mills Pediatrics’ in August 2003, followed by ‘NorthSide Pediatrics in 2005 and since than he has opened a total of 10 practices and acquired 20 pediatrics practices across North Carolina and currently operate 26 pediatric practices as Kidzcare Pediatrics with over 160 staff members serving more than 70,000 lives across North Carolina.

In 2006, Dr. Jain founded the India Foundation, a charitable organization, supporting initiatives like Project Drishti, which provides eyeglasses and cataract surgery to those in need in India, and the construction of a school in Rajasthan. Additionally, the foundation introduced dance therapy for special needs children in North Carolina. Dr. Jain’s personal contributions of over Two million dollars have been instrumental in advancing the foundation’s objectives, benefiting healthcare and education in the US, Nepal, and India. India foundation provided the seed money to get land and subsequently building for the hospital owned by Shri C. R. Jain Charitable Trust in Bangalore India.

Dr. Jain’s dedication transcended borders, as he moved to Bangalore, India, in May 2007, to establish Indus Westside Hospital in 2010 and opened MedSol Hospital in 2015. This 200-bed hospital features cutting-edge technology and offers a wide range of medical services, from cardiac surgery to bariatric surgery.

His commitment to excellence and leadership in healthcare administration was recognized when he became a Board-Certified Physician Executive in 2011. Dr. Jain has received numerous awards and honors, including the prestigious Medallion for Entrepreneurship Award and recognition as a ‘Mover and Shaker’ in 2011.

His pediatric practice, Kidzcare Pediatrics, has been consistently honored with awards, including the highest recognition as a Patient-Centered Medical Home – Level 3, from the National Committee on Quality Assurance (USA) since 2013  and is also recognized as an Advance Medical Home level 3 since 2021 proving care management services to complex patients needs.

In 2023 he incorporated Medladr Staffiing in India to recruit/train/Certify nurses and physicians from India and Middle East to place them in US and Canada to address severe nurses and physicians shortages in USA and Canada.

In 2024 Dr. Jain partnered with like minded professionals and became a partner / Board member in US Pediatrics Partners MSO which has presence across 4 states- NC, SC, NJ, and NY providing care to more than 250,000 lives while employing approx. 800 professional staff across 65 pediatrics practices and it the second largest pediatric group in USA.

In 2025, Dr. Jain started the building a school in his native village of Dadal, Rajasthan, India for 100 students with modern facilities and technology to enable and empower students from most rural place in India. It was inaugurated on December 22, 2025.

Looking ahead, Dr. Jain has ambitious plans for the next five years, focused on expanding healthcare access in Jalore District, Rajasthan to address the poor access to care and healthcare professional shortages in Rajasthan India. His vision includes creating the best healthcare facilities, educating and empowering healthcare professionals to improve the access in rural communities, and create employment to contribute to the local economy in India.
