Mr. Indrajeet Rai is the Executive Editor of ABP News. India’s only and World longest serving Forensic journalist with over 22 years of verified proficiency in News and Investigations. Apart from News and Investigation, His focus is to fight against fake news and misinformation by using science as a weapon.
His academic accomplishments include PhD., Postgraduate in forensic science, Postgraduate in Criminology, Diploma in Cyber Forensic from National Institute of Management and Technology, Certification in CSI from the IFS, Certification in Conflict, Anti-Corruption and Organized Crime from the United Nations Office of Drug and Crime (UNODC). He was Also part of Research Team on Fake News with IIM Indore.
His previous stints As Forensic Expert and Journalist include various leading news channels News18, News Nation, and Zee News in India. India’s only Forensic journalist, Rai has achieved many milestones in his journalistic career and has received several awards for Excellent Contribution in Media by News Television Industry including NT Award and ENBA Award.
He conducts training sessions for various government departments, including, Uttar Pradesh Police, MP Police, Chhattisgarh Police, Uttarakhand Police, Central Forest Academy. He is Also Visiting Faculty of Various Universities including, University of Lucknow, Bikaner University, Amity University, Sharda University.
