Sima Taparia is an International renowned, matchmaker. Her name is known to almost every high-profile family not only in India but globally. She is born in Gulbarga town in Karnataka to a Marwari family.
Sima as a child had a passion to remember relations of her family and this made her a very social and outgoing person. Initially, she did matchmaking as a hobby which led to her taking up a full-time profession in 2005. She is very passionate about her work and enjoys it as its makes a difference in the lives of the people, families & amp; a society at large.
In July 2020, Netflix has come out blockbuster show on her work “Indian Matchmaking” which has become a global sensation. She will start shooting for the second session of the show in January 2021. It was nominated for Emmys in Los Angeles in 2021. Her Documentary, #A Suitable Girl, won an award at Tribecca Film Festival New York in 2017.
