Yogacharya Dhakaram’s path began in 1993 under the transformative guidance of his Guru, Shri Suraj Karan Jindal Sahib of Jaipur. It was during these formative years that Dhakaram discovered the healing potential of Yoga. His dedication to the discipline and his natural aptitude for the therapeutic application of asanas led him to a higher calling: healing society through the science of movement and breath. 

In 1998, this vision materialized into the foundation of YogaPeace, followed by the establishment of YogaPeace Sansthan. What started as a focused endeavor to bring relief to those in pain has today grown into the world’s largest autonomous Yoga therapy center, having touched the lives of over two million people globally.

He is a certified Yoga Chikitsa Acharya and has refined his expertise under masters like Yogacharya Shri Karunakar ji (a disciple of B.K.S. Iyengar). To Yogacharya Dhakaram, teaching is a form of Sadhana (spiritual practice). He often says, “Teaching gives me a great deal of satisfaction and the opportunity of self-realization… it allows me to contribute to society in the best way I can.” This human-centric approach has earned him global recognition, including being a two-time international gold medalist and a recipient of prestigious honors such as the “Yog Ratna” and “Rajasthan Gaurav” awards.
