Dr. Santosh Kumar Jain, a multi faceted personality, started his diversified career as CA with a prestigious All India Rank in 1975 after serving as an independent practitioner, he ventured into category I Merchant Banking in 1993. His pioneer project ‘Astha Television Channel’ launched in 2000 which is covering almost half of the globe is a feather on his cap.
Shree Jain bagged Life Time Achievement Award twice from Lions International Dist 322B2. His social life is as notable as his professional. He was the president of Lions Club Kolkata (Tollygunge) in 1986 and also held the portfolio of a District Cabinet Treasurer, Region Chairman, CSF co-coordinator, Advisor, Chairman — LCIF in last 3 years etc. Shree Santosh Kumar Jain was the former president of the most prestigious club of Kolkata ‘The Hindusthan Club’ for a period of three consecutive years. He is also the past president of Gunayatan, Sammed Shikharji. He is also the proud recipient of 19th Annual Bharat Nirman Awards in 2012 for his creative persuits.
Dr. Jain was instrumental and founder trustee in setting up Siddhayatan at Sammedsikharji, Parasnath under banner Lord Prashvanath Foundation over fully furnished constructed area of 1.70 lakhs square ft.. Computer fitted buses are covering deep inside small villages with faculty and syllabus provided by IIT Bombay which also provides Certificates after on-line Exam. This foundation was honored by IIT Bombay in August’2022 for its innovative project. Other Trust Santosh Lalita Jain Foundation runs about 9 vehicles fitted with fully automatic roti making machine and serves more than 5500 persons free hygienic hot food daily being accredited by Lions International as one of the most innovative project in the world.
Dr. Jain is also founder chief patrons of Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO) and is an also trustee of JATF, imparting coaching of UPSE from where more than 500 officers have passed and well positioned in the country. He is Chairman of Tolly Lions Dialysis hospital doing above 100 dialysis daily with 38 machines and also day to-day carrying on activities as founder President of Purvanchal Gau Seva having more than 760 cows.
Dr. Santosh Kumar Jain has completed his Doctorate from KEISIE International University — KIU, South Korea in early 2017 in the field ofManagement.
