- Implementation of City Data Policy as a first step towards the implementation of Data-Driven Governance.Implementation of Parking Management which is on the chock-a-block Roads stretch. Charging at a per hour basis, the results were staggering as it reduced congestion and most importantly, ensured a twelve-fold annual increase in revenue.
- Implementation of Smart Traffic Signal System & Organized Plying of City Buses for Smooth Traffic Management.
- Successfully Implemented Primary Collection and Secondary Collection tasks of Solid Waste Management in Ranchi City.
- Online payment system adopted by RMC for PMAY beneficiaries payment approval and payment transfer through PFMS system. 2168 dwelling units have been given to beneficiaries in the mega camp organized by RMC.
- ULB level Steering & Monitoring committee has been formed for PM SVANidhi Scheme.
- The new survey/mid-survey of street vendors is in progress via a market campaign with the help of Cos, CRPs, and office bearer of ALFs. At present, 6412 street vendors have been surveyed. Online payment of all types of municipal taxes has been successfully implemented at the RMC level to promote maximum use of digital payments.
- Implement the decisions of the corporation and the government. Signing bills that were passed by the standing committee/ Municipal Board of RMC. Presiding over a meeting, and seminars of Smart City and Command & Control Center.
- Consider the welfare and interests of the RMC as a whole and, bring to the council’s attention anything that would promote the welfare or interests of the city.
Under the public services he has also served as a Deputy Commissioner Bokaro, Deputy Commissioner Dumka, State Project Director Jharkhand, Deputy Commissioner Hazaribagh, Deputy Commissioner Latehar, Deputy Commissioner Khunti, and Sub Divisional Officer Pakur.
Mr. Kumar has completed his education in Delhi and his Master’s from Jawahar Lal University in Hindi Literature and Graduated in Mathematics.
